Munson Medical Center has a full-time opportunity for a BE/BC fellowship trained Interventional Neurologist to join an exceptional team in beautiful Traverse City, MI.  

Join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary inpatient care team consisting of 7 neurosurgeons, 2 neurocritical care trained neurologists, 2 neuro hospitalists. The team includes a fellowship trained neuro endovascular surgeon, fellowship training neuro oncologist, two neuro-hospitalists, two neurocritical care intensivists, 5 general neurosurgeons and a team of skilled advanced practice providers, in collaboration with hospitalist, emergency department, intensivist, and rehabilitation physicians - all dedicated to a mission of excellence and quality driven care.  

Munson Medical Center also has 24/7 hospitalist and trauma coverage. Our stroke unit is comprised of 29 beds, equipped with telemetry and staffed by a dedicated and experienced team. Stroke neurology sits in the neurosurgery division with neuro critical care and neurointervention. This is an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional Interventional Neurologist to work for northern Michigans largest and leading health care system and live in stunning Traverse City.   

Munson Medical Center is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and has expanded its stroke services to include thrombectomy and other advanced vascular neurosurgery procedures.

   POSITION HIGHLIGHTS 

• Join a strong interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, exceptional care to patients.
• Deliver dedicated inpatient stroke coverage to ensure comprehensive management of acute stroke patients
• Engage in tele-stroke coverage to provide remote consultation and support for stroke care in various settings.
