  • Position / Specialty: IMC RN
  • Shift: 3x12 Days (0645-1915)
  • Avg. Daily Census: 38
  • Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend
  • Is on-call REQ? No
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float to like units as needed
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager
  • Locals accepted: Yes- no radius
  • Must have active IL license or be in application process with active ETA to apply
  • RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
  • Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.
    Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience required

  • Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
  • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring
  • Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR band
  • Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Feeding tube care and management
  • Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure
  • Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy skills/experience: Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
  • Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips
  • Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA
  • Experience with Surgical drains required
  • Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management
  • Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Cerner experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
  • Level I Trauma experience preferred

    Additional Details
  • A legible copy of a valid/current US Driver’s license or US ID card
  • Badge photo required within a week of signing. This is due no later than Monday before start. Photo must be in color from mid-shoulders up.
  • Candidate must review and sign within 7 days of signing contract.
  • Required if candidate is requesting a Religious Exemption from flu vaccine.
  • Required if requesting a Medical Exemption from flu vaccine.
