This position involves providing locum tenens neurology services in Central Illinois. The physician will work in a Neuro-Epilepsy Clinic, managing an average of 8-12 patients daily while supporting a growing practice and focusing on complex cases. Responsibilities include reading EMUs, cEEGs, and LTEEGs, as well as contributing to residency training and functional neurosurgery programs.

Please see the details below:-Start as soon as credentialed and ongoing-7 shifts per month-Neuro-Epilepsy Clinic Monday-Friday: 8a-5p-There is call to read EMU's - 5 Bed EMU-8-12 patients a day-Ideally able to read cEEGs and LTEEGs, staff the EMU and support the functional neurosurgery program(e.g. brain mapping) and meet residency training requirements-Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS and DBS for epilepsy would be ideal-Experience with perioperative stero-electroencephalogram(SEEG) analysis is ideal-3 APPs and neurological support team-Growing practice and looking to refocus on complex patients-Teaching facility with 16 Neurology Residents-The only level I trauma center in the city-Must be currently Illinois licensed-Travel, lodging, paid malpractice insurance includedTo learn more contact Linzi Shipley at or text .
