Our client is a growing company providing healthcare coverage to ICUs, hospitals, and multiple post-acute care facilities across the country. They are looking to add excellent physicians to their rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Rounds on nursing home, vented/trached patients and other duties
• Average number of patients to round on is 25 pts per day
• Meet with family members
• Meet and coordinate with the DON

Certifications and Licenses

• BC/BE in Internal/ Infectious Disease
• BLS certification
• State license
• Federal DEA and state CS number

Billings and Collections

• All Patients are privately insured
• Provider gets to keep a percentage of the collection
• Provider at end of the month will get a report re his/her collections
• It usually takes 6-8 weeks to start seeing the collections coming in
• Bonus plan is included upon signing

Coverage and procedures

• Daily round and it s determined by the provide, we have great flexibility
• Expect coverage time is around 4-6 hours per day

Our client's responsibilities

• Provide the physician with Malpractice insurance
• Provide an office space to work
• Provide billing services
• Provide access to its billing services EMR system
• Scheduling
• Back-office support with credentialing, licensure etc.
