We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position based in New York City , offering flexibility and an opportunity to work with a highly respected law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, property damage, auto liability, and professional liability claims.
• Handle cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct depositions, attend court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
• Provide thorough legal analysis, develop case strategies, and deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong knowledge of New York civil procedure and insurance defense practices.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Admission to the New York State Bar is required; admission to additional states is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining high productivity and communication.
