About the Role:

As the Front of House Manager, you will be the face of Le French, ensuring every guest feels welcome and enjoys a seamless dining experience. You will lead and inspire our front of house team, maintain the highest standards of service, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all front of house operations, including opening and closing duties, scheduling, and staff management.
• Train, mentor, and motivate front of house staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Manage reservations, seating, and guest flow to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and grace.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and back of house team to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Manage inventory and ordering of front of house supplies.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assist with special events and promotions.
• Monitor and control labor costs.
• Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant management role.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of French cuisine and wine is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in POS systems (Toast preferred) and reservation management software (OpenTable preferred).
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to lift up to1 50 pounds.
