Role : Senior / Lead Business Analyst


Level : Mid - Senior


Location : San Antonio, TX / Atlanta, Georgia / Chicago, IL


We are seeking an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions. You will play a key role in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and supporting the overall Claims Center system lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into clear, detailed, and actionable requirements for Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Business Process Mapping: Analyze current claims processing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements within the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform.
  • Configuration and Customization Support: Work closely with technical teams to configure, customize, and implement solutions within Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • System Integration: Support the integration of Guidewire ClaimCenter with other business systems and applications.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, test cases, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements and is free of defects.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and deliver user training materials, and provide ongoing support to users post-implementation.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the business requirements, functional specifications, test cases, and system configurations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 8-14 years working as a business analyst, with at least 4 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter or similar claims management platforms.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of insurance industry processes, particularly claims management.
  • Guidewire ClaimCenter Expertise: Familiarity with Guidewire ClaimCenter features, configuration, and implementation.
  • Business Analysis Skills: Strong skills in business process analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with SQL, data analysis, and working with developers to implement solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive the successful implementation and optimization of Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certifications: Guidewire Certifications (e.g., Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst Certification).
  • Agile Methodology: Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Prior experience in the insurance domain, especially claims management.
