Job Overview:

Control Air Enterprises LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of the accounts payable process. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, matching purchasing and receiving documents, correct distribution of expenses to general ledger accounts, and the efficient use of payment discounts. The role also involves maintaining a paperless filing system and ensuring proper record storage.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Supervise and coordinate the accounts payable process, including invoice processing and payments.

+ Ensure accurate matching of purchasing and receiving documents and the proper distribution of expenses to general ledger accounts.

+ Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate payments, maximizing discounts when available.

+ Maintain a paperless filing system for records and ensure proper storage.

+ Plan work schedules, assign duties, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and adherence to company policies.

+ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of the construction industry, including subcontractor schedules, progress billings, retention, and sales tax laws.

+ Experience with city permit filings.

+ Familiarity with Sage 300CRE and Paperless Environment software is preferred, but not required.

Skills:

+ Strong organizational and supervisory skills.

+ Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
