An established orthopedic practice in The Woodlands, TX area is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. Candidates with previous surgical experience as well as recent graduates are welcome to apply.

*Responsibilities:*
* Full-time permanent position - general orthopedics, hand, upper extremity
* Primarily clinic based
* Assist in the OR (1 day/week)
* Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
* Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
* Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
* Take call

*Qualifications:*
* Texas State License
* Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminology
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
* Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
