Title: Development Assistant
Reports to: Director of Development
Location: Foxboro, MA
The organization:
Founded in 1991, Rodman for Kids is driven by the belief that all young people deserve access to the programs, resources, and opportunities they need to dream, grow, and succeed. We are committed to raising resources, building capacity, and creating opportunities for youth-focused organizations, their leaders, and the kids they serve.
A better future begins with investing in the youth in our communities. This includes supporting education, health, social, and creative development. Rodman for Kids shines a light on possibilities and potential, creates pathways, and provides access to a brighter future for kids in need of support.
Through our Charity Partner Program, Rodman for Kids provides space and programs for collaboration, networking, professional development, and best practices to youth-focused charities of all sizes – from passion projects in the incubation stage to established community youth organizations to hospital pediatric units. In addition to this comprehensive support, Rodman for Kids also provides fundraising and organizational resources, as well as financial support, to their Charity Partners.
Through our Theatre for Kids Program, Rodman for Kids breaks down barriers to make the performing arts accessible for ALL kids, regardless of socioeconomic background or ability, introducing them to new dreams and life-changing experiences. We do this by purchasing tickets to performances and distributing them to a trusted network of nonprofit organizations and schools, who in turn distribute them to kids who otherwise would not have the opportunity to see a professional performing arts production.
