Our client is looking for a temporary project coordinator to assist the
Construction/Development department. This position will have an administrative
focus but will require a thorough knowledge of the commercial construction
process. A candidate with commercial property management or commercial
construction experience would be a great fit!
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Reviewing lease documents to create lease abstracts and track critical dates.
- Read, review and compile notices relating to construction, including Rent
- Commencement Letters, Contingency Expiration Letters, turnover letters, etc.
- Update Construction Monitor on an ongoing basis, following up with various departments for status updates.
- Prepare documents and presentations for pre-development and development meetings.
- Reviewing delivery checklists for completeness and accuracy; ensuring proper permits and COIs are in place.
- Reviewing COIs for accuracy and following up with tenants, as necessary.
- Skills / Requirements / Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience within the commercial real estate, construction, or property management industry.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe.
- Understanding of construction process/workflow.
- Reading Comprehension: Understanding written sentences and paragraphs
in work-related documents.
- Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
