We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our clients team at an established engineering consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing design for residential projects, including high-rise buildings, and be proficient in Revit and CAD software. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage plumbing design on a variety of residential projects, with a focus on high-rise buildings.
- Create detailed plumbing systems designs, schematics, and layouts using Revit and CAD.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design integration and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
- Review and approve design calculations, equipment specifications, and installation procedures.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality designs that meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes to relevant codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Plumbing Engineering (or a related field).
- 5+ years of experience in plumbing engineering design, with a strong focus on residential and high-rise projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software for plumbing design and drafting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, but not required.
