A food production company in San Clemente is looking for a Store Picker to join their team. This individual is responsible for receiving produce and raw foods, assembling, shipping, labeling, and/or packaging foods to customers using manual assembly and equipment. Must be able to work in all temperature-controlled, cold environments (38 degrees). This is a temp to hire position with a pay of $18.50/hr. The shift is Tues-Fri 4PM- 12:30AM and Saturdays 10AM-3PM plus overtime.
Responsibilities:

• Selects and packages products for shipment based on customer orders.
  
• Wrap pallets and operate pallet jack.
  
• Uses technology, including handheld devices, to sort, scan and prepare orders
  
• May be training to do a bigger job, work in a variety of areas, conveyor/ assembly lines, receiving, shipping, inventory, and other processes independently.
  
• Package kits and rotate and check food ingredients for freshness.
  
• Prepares and understands a variety of routine paperwork associated with food preparation, packaging, labeling, and controls.

• At least 6 months experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.

• General high school degree/GED or equivalent preferred
  
• Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills

• Must be able to use a scan gun and able to count and understand quantities.
  
• Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
  
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERTIME
