Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in New Desoto, TX . This is a 13-week contract with the potential for an extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Job Responsibilities: -

1. Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and other patient care procedures

2. Maintain established quality control standards

3. Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately

4. Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies

5. Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms

6. Assist with Quality, ensuring patients are getting their preventative screening exams.

Must have qualifications/experience:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Current CPR and / or BLS certification.
• Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification.
• EMR experience.

Job Duration: Full time, 13 weeks

Shifts: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Hourly Pay: $21 - $23/hour
