Job Description

RETS Associates is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Development Director to lead a world-class mixed-use development project spanning over 100 acres, totaling $4B, and projected over 10 years. This ambitious project is located in Anaheim, CA , and encompasses a variety of elements including multifamily housing, office spaces, retail areas, concert venues, parking structures, and hospitality components. We are in search of a dynamic leader with over 10 years of experience in real estate development and a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across multiple asset types. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a mixed-use project that seamlessly integrates diverse assets, including residential, commercial, entertainment, and hospitality facilities.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and entitlements to construction and final handover.
  • Manage multiple facets of the project concurrently, ensuring effective collaboration between different asset types and phases.
  • Control project timelines, budgets, and resources across various disciplines to achieve outstanding results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to meet design, construction, and operational standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for all stakeholders, including city officials, architects, and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 9+ years of experience in real estate development, showcasing a track record of handling diverse and large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience managing both internal and external project teams, including Architects, Engineers, and Contractors.
  • Familiarity with state and local governmental agencies; knowledge of CEQA and relevant development regulations and policies is highly preferred.

Compensation

  • Base salary starting at $200K, commensurate with experience, plus annual bonus.
