Job Description

Part of the Product Marketing team for Mailchimp, the Advanced Team is seeking a seasoned individual contributor with strong strategic skills, executive-level influence and communication, proven ability to drive seamless cross-functional partnerships, and a strong bias for action. As a Principal Product Marketing Manager leading Mailchimp’s AI strategy, you will partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Research, Design, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and others to lead inbound product marketing and go-to-market planning and execution.We’re looking for a forward-thinking self-starter who has experience translating customer insights into strong marketing plans, and who can successfully navigate through ambiguity to drive meaningful action. You’ll be challenged to think boldly and move fast, and you will have a big impact on the go forward AI vision for Mailchimp.Responsibilities Develop deep customer insights, product expertise and competitive intelligence to inform winning messaging and positioning, and influence the product roadmap to deliver on the biggest customer needsDevelop compelling go-to-market strategies and partner closely with Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to bring these to lifeDevelop data-backed monetization strategies in partnership with strategy, product, and GBSG Intuit Assist teamsPartner closely with cross-functional teams spanning marketing, customer research, product, design, analytics, sales and customer successActively analyze data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business resultsContribute to a high-performing culture by sharing go-to-market best practices that up-level the team’s marketing craft10+ years of business experience leading marketing strategy development and cross-functional executionMarketing software experience preferredExperience with small to medium-sized businesses and/or AI a plusBA/BS required or equivalent work experience, MBA preferredStrong influencing and communications skills across all levels up to executiveExperience using deep customer insight and data to inform segmentation, targeting and positioning, and translating strategy into product roadmaps and actionable, cross-functional go-to-market plansAbility to prioritize and make strategic choices, specifically narrowing from a range of opportunities to highest-impact levers, balancing short- and long-term business outcomesAbility to identify big insights by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to unlock growth opportunities and developing the business cases and activation plans to supportStrong creative problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills; storytellerDetail-oriented, sweating the details to deliver awesomeStrong results orientation and decision-making skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
