Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and present insightful recommendations that clarify strategy and return on investment, integrating feedback from various teams to secure executive buy-in.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other teams to drive success.
- Conduct comprehensive qualitative customer studies and quantitative market research, utilizing methods such as Build-Your-Own Conjoint, Discrete Choice Conjoint, and Gabor-Granger to support the Enterprise Sales team on product sizing and pricing.
- Analyze industry and competitor information, synthesizing data for actionable insights.
- Perform statistical analysis on empirical data (sales, usage, etc.) to inform strategy.
- Create financial models to simulate customer behavior and forecast costs, providing scenario analysis that estimates impacts on market penetration, revenue, and margins.
- Ensure seamless execution of proposals and initiatives.
- Define product requirements for the roadmap and future releases in alignment with business model strategy.
- Plan and oversee operational activities necessary for execution success.
- Establish guidelines for direct sales and develop effective sales plays and training materials.
- Conduct post-mortems to evaluate the success of proposals, refining as necessary.
- Leverage prior expertise in pricing and packaging strategies and go-to-market plans within the enterprise SaaS landscape.
- Manage cross-functional relationships to garner support for the operationalization of strategic initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Management/Strategy Consulting or Pricing/Packaging Strategy.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise/B2B software sales processes, including pricing, deal structures, and discounting methodologies.
- Proven ability to simplify complex issues, quickly identifying core problems and crafting effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for finding solutions in ambiguous situations.
- Exceptional communication, deck-writing, and influencing skills.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to drive consensus in a large, matrixed organization.
