Job Title: Glass Fabrication Supervisor
A leading manufacturer in the glass industry, specializing in high-quality glass fabrication for various applications is excited to add a skilled Glass Fabrication Supervisor onto their dynamic team to contribute to their continued success in the industry.
Position Overview: As the Glass Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of glass fabrication, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will lead a team of production workers, manage workflow, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements to optimize operations.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate glass fabrication activities, including cutting, shaping, polishing, and tempering processes.
• Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure performance goals are met.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in glass fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of glass fabrication processes and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.
