OutScout has partnered with a fast-growing SaaS platform that empowers students on their path to degree completion and career success. We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join their team and drive the development of their groundbreaking platform.
About the Company: This company’s platform is a unified degree management system that helps students seamlessly plan their ideal degree paths. They are addressing a major issue in the U.S. education system, where 40% of students drop out within their first two years, costing institutions approximately $200 billion annually.
About the Role: As the Lead Engineer, you will take ownership of end-to-end delivery for parts of the Onboarding team. You will develop a full stack application focused on integrating students’ academic data into the platform, helping institutions enhance their student offerings. This is a backend-heavy full stack role that requires deep technical expertise and leadership in driving key product development.
Tech Stack:
- Python, JavaScript, Angular/React
- This role will be backend-heavy but also requires full stack development capabilities.
Location:
- Hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in the San Mateo, CA office.
