Constellation Health Services is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments.
Analyze assessment data and write comprehensive evaluation reports with clear recommendations.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist with the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans.
Provide individual and group counseling services to students addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, social-emotional difficulties, and behavioral challenges.
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and provide consultation to teachers and staff on effective classroom management strategies.
Conduct crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other professionals (e.g., special education teachers, counselors, social workers) to create a supportive learning environment.
Build strong relationships with families and provide guidance and support to parents on child development and parenting strategies.
Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
Valid Connecticut School Psychologist licensure.
Strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school settings.
The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
Preferred:
Experience working in a school setting.
Experience with diverse student populations.
Knowledge of Connecticut special education regulations.
