Hello! I am looking for an experienced elder care provider for my mother with mid stage dementia. She is mobile and has a great sense of humor, but has short term memory deficit. She now requires some assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, meal prep) and we are looking for a caregiver to help out a few days a week. We are looking to start off with 3 days a week. Monday and Thursday mornings the caregiver would get her up and dressed to go to adult daycare which located less than 2 miles from our home. We would also like someone to sit with her one evening a week which is flexible.
The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and also love puzzles and Family Feud.
Patience and compassionate care are key.
