Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join its Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, preferably in product liability and complex commercial litigation. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise associates and collaborate effectively with clients, experts, and internal teams.Job Duties:Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates and strategy.Supervise and mentor associates, guiding case management and legal strategies.Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants to strengthen case development.Assist development through research and analysis and conduct depositions as needed.Review, draft, and edit discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.Contribute to the development of case strategies and provide insightful legal advice.Requirements:Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Specialization in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Knowledge or experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.Strong analytical and writing skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.JD degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.Licensed to practice law in New York and admitted to practice in Texas.Education, Certifications, and Skills:JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.Strong academic credentials.Additional MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology degrees are desirable.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Leadership and management capabilities to supervise and mentor junior attorneys.Ability to influence others and effectively communicate complex legal concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.Other Details:Location: Houston, TXBenefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) plan.Travel: Occasional travel may be required for case-related activities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
