Job Description

Job Overview: A law firm in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with extensive experience in litigation, preferably acquired at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate will possess a science background, superior research and writing skills, and experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. The role requires effective communication, strong project management abilities, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly and efficiently.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products that are compliant with firm standards.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships internally and externally.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) must be considered.Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are highly preferred.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is advantageous.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects effectively.Prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools.CA Bar admission.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.Skills:Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
