Acara Solutions has been providing advanced manufacturing firms nationally with our staffing services for over 65 years. Our Long Island, NY electronics client has a salaried direct opening for an Electronics Crystal Test Engineer. The salary range is $100K - $110K. This is an onsite position.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented quartz crystal Test Engineer with a strong background in electronics to join our dynamic engineering team. The quartz crystal test engineer will be responsible for developing, documenting, and executing quartz crystal testing protocols, troubleshooting quartz crystal testing systems, and ensuring product quality and reliability. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and experience with electronic testing systems.

• Design, develop, document and implement quartz crystal test plans, test cases, and testing procedures for quartz crystal electronic testing systems.
• Use electronic testing equipment such as quartz crystal temperature testing systems, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators to perform tests.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and provide feedback to production and development teams.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot defects and issues within electronic test systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, procedures and results.
• Prepare test reports, summaries, and presentations for engineering and management teams.
• Propose enhancements to existing test processes and procedures to improve efficiency and product reliability.
• Maintain shipping records, location and test data for inventoried quartz crystals.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

BSEE or similar technical Bachelor's degree.

Min 3 years of electronics testing and troubleshooting experience that includes electronic testing lab tool proficiency (e.g., Network analyzers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators).
