Job Description The firm is seeking a motivated and skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of insurance defense litigation experience and the ability to manage cases from inception to resolution . This role involves handling complex legal matters , conducting depositions, drafting motions, and representing clients in court.
Key Responsibilities - Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including commercial litigation, property damage, and professional liability claims.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations .
- Develop and implement case strategies while providing legal counsel to clients.
- Negotiate settlements and collaborate with experts to prepare cases for trial.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends .
Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in Washington State .
- 2-6 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong knowledge of insurance law, defense strategies, and civil litigation procedures .
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills .
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively .
