We are in search of a highly motivated and skilled General Liability Litigation Attorney to join one of our client firms in California. As an integral member, you'll engage in diverse legal matters, representing clients in various proceedings and providing expert legal counsel. Your role will be pivotal in upholding our commitment to delivering premium legal services. Hybrid schedule with possibilty of fully remote. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
- Independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Conduct depositions.
- Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Review and analyze discovery requests.
- Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
- Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Maintain accurate time records.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: product liability, transportation, aviation, and premises liability.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
- Experience with motion practice and depositions.
- Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
- Capable of independent work.
- Work in an organized and efficient manner.
- Superior research and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to analyze complex matters.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to offer strategic counsel to clients.
- Prepare legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and other necessary instruments.
- Advocate for clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
- Offer guidance and advice on a broad spectrum of legal issues.
- Stay abreast of legal and industry developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve client objectives.
- Maintain precise and organized case files and documentation.
