DescriptionPosition Summary:The Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) will hold a pivotal senior leadership role at OFS. The primary responsibility will be to strategically align the development, implementation, and management of the organization’s people and culture strategies with OFS's overarching business objectives. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that OFS attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture. The CPCO will drive organizational change initiatives, improve employee engagement, and create an environment that supports innovation, collaboration, and well-being. The CPCO supervises the HR Manager and reports to the President & CEO. The CPCO’s partnership with the senior leadership team will be crucial in aligning people and culture strategies with business objectives and company goals.Essential Functions:Strategic People and Culture Leadership Lead the development and execution of the company’s people and culture strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all matters related to people, culture, and organizational design.Champion OFS’s values, mission, and vision, ensuring they are embedded in the culture and decision-making processes.Foster a work environment that promotes collaboration, transparency, and innovation, aligning culture initiatives with business needs.Lead and develop the HR team.Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, and Organizational Growth Oversee the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies to attract a diverse and high-performing candidate pool.Build and maintain a strong employer brand to position OFS as an employer of choice in the St. Louis region.Design and implement leadership development programs to cultivate future leaders and support career growth within the company.Promote a continuous learning and development culture, providing employees with opportunities for skill-building and advancement.Lead succession planning efforts to identify and prepare high-potential employees for leadership roles.Employee Experience and Engagement Create and drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.Implement employee feedback mechanisms, such as surveys and focus groups, to measure and improve the employee experience.Lead programs to foster a positive, inclusive, and empowering workplace culture, ensuring all employees feel valued, respected, and supported.Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.Develop and execute a robust DEI strategy to cultivate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.Track, measure, and report on DEI initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.Performance Management and Recognition Support the design and implementation of performance management systems to ensure high standards of accountability and productivity.Oversee the performance management system to ensure employees receive consistent feedback, coaching, and recognition.Develop and implement recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and reinforce company values.Align performance goals with mission objectives to foster a results-oriented culture.Compensation, Benefits, and Wellness Lead the development of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.Promote employee wellness and work-life balance initiatives, ensuring employees feel professionally and personally supported.Regularly assess and update compensation and benefits offerings to remain competitive.HR Technology and Data Analytics Leverage HR technology and analytics to optimize HR functions and improve people-related decision-making.Use data to measure the effectiveness of people programs and identify areas for continuous improvement.Ensure HR systems and processes are streamlined, efficient, and scalable to meet OFS’s evolving needs.Legal Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.Oversee developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures to mitigate legal and operational risks.Address and resolve any legal issues related to employment law, workplace safety, and employee rights.Successfully partner with external resources to manage risk, provide coaching, and offer training resources to ensure managers and leaders know their obligations and minimize risks.RequirementsEducation and/or Experience:Proven experience as a Chief People Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, or senior executive human resources leadership role focusing on people and culture.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications, such as SHRM-SCP, preferred.10-15 years of work experience in human resources management, organizational culture, talent acquisition, and employee development, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated ability to build or leverage existing network to bring best practices and new innovative ideas to the team to support the overall strategic plan and business goals;
