Job Title : Quality Control Manager

Location : Emporia, VA

Duration : Direct Hire

Salary : $130,000 - $135,000 + Bonus

We’re seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to lead all on-site quality control activities and oversee the inspection team. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects meet quality standards while staying fully compliant with NRC industry regulations and codes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage quality control processes across all project phases.
• Lead, mentor, and guide the inspection team to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
• Provide training and certification to keep the inspection team updated on the latest industry standards and best practices.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and contractual requirements, with a focus on specialized sectors like nuclear power or government facilities.

What We’re Looking For :

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a construction-related field.
• 10 years of equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, quality assurance, and codes/standards, especially in specialized areas such as Nuclear Power facilities.
• Familiarity with quality standards, including NRC regulations
• Inspector Level II or III Certified
