Job Title: Project Engineer, I&C

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration : 7 months

Rate: $60 - $70/hr (1.5X OT)

Per Diem : $186/day

Hours : 40-50 hours per week

Seeking a Project Engineer to support the CHP Project , primarily focusing on reviewing contractor engineering deliverables for quality, functionality, and contract compliance. The role involves assessing vendor drawings, supporting project engineering activities, and ensuring adherence to design and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Sr. Project Manager in all aspects of project engineering.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables before submission to the contractor.
• Support claim management, variation tracking, and contract entitlements related to engineering work.
• Evaluate risks in engineering activities and project deliverables.
• Monitor and verify contractor’s engineering progress for payment validation.
• Ensure compliance with project methodologies, standards, and documentation protocols.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates to leadership.
• Review and approve general engineering/design matters submitted by the contractor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical , Mechanical, or Control & Instrumentation Engineering Technology.
• 10+ years of I&C discipline project design engineering experience in gas turbine power plant
