Growing Fashion Design Company and licenser of premier brands is looking for their next Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and entrepreneurial CFO with a strong track record of strategic and operational excellence. The CFO will lead the finance and operations functions while shaping the financial strategy, optimizing efficiencies in operations, and driving sustainable growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
- Oversee all financial and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
- Manage cash flow and optimize capital structure.
- Mitigate financial risks and ensure strong internal controls.
Operational Excellence: - Streamline and optimize operations across all departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee supply chain management, production, and logistics.
- Negotiate key vendor contracts and manage relationships.
- Implement technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
Strategic Partnership: - Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team.
- Provide financial and operational insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive company-wide initiatives.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance and operations team.
Requirements: - 15+ years of relevant experience with at least 7 years of experience in a senior finance role, and a demonstrated track record of success in leading and scaling businesses.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and analysis
- Experience optimizing operations, improving processes and systems, and driving efficiency
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to support sustainable business growth
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
Preferred Skills: - CPA or MBA
- Industry experience from consumer products
- Experience working in a factored organization
- Experience with and ability to lead systems implementations/migrations
- M&A experience
Compensation: $240,000-$280,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
