Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC turning supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience supervising machinists and a minimum of 10 years in machining. This is a great opportunity to take on a leadership role with room for advancement!

Location:  Carver

Wage:  $30 - $37/hr.

Hours:

• 1st shift: 4 - 10-hour shifts, Monday – Thursday, but 5 – 8, Monday – Friday, is also an option

Duties of the CNC turning supervisor:

• Oversee and guide a team of machinists in CNC turning operations
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
• Troubleshoot CNC turning machines and resolve issues promptly
• Train and mentor staff on proper machining techniques and safety protocols
• Manage workflow to meet production goals and deadlines
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Monitor inventory and order necessary materials

Requirements of the CNC turning supervisor:

• 7+ years of experience in CNC turning supervision
• 10+ years of experience in machining
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in CNC programming and machine setup
• Knowledge of machining materials and processes
