Kjar, McKenna & Stockalper, seeks assiduous and detail-oriented Associates to join our thriving El Segundo office , to practice on one of our Medical Malpractice, Legal Malpractice, General Liability, Products Liability, Public Entity Defense and Municipal Liability focused teams.

You must be licensed in the state of California to be considered for this position and have relevant work experience stated above.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal skills, oral advocacy, writing skills, and motivation, are a must. JD from an ABA school required. Experience in insurance defense litigation and general familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines is preferred. Qualified candidates will have experience handling civil litigation matters. We are currently hiring for candidates who have experience in the following practice areas:

• Premises liability

Responsibilities

• Independently work with a senior attorney on team to manage caseload.
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Regularly handle and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research, handle discovery and analyze medical and employment records.
• Frequently handle court appearances, depositions and meetings.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
