Job Description

• The Interim Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including: NDAs, MSAs, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, consulting agreements.
• Create, update and maintain contract templates.
• Work closely with the legal team to assist with various corporate and commercial day to day legal matters.

The Successful Applicant

• JD from US law school
• Admission to NY State Bar
• Available March-August for assignment
• 5+ years of legal experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, with at least 2 years of experience gained at a top law firm
• Experience advising on IP legal matters as it pertains to transactional legal matters
• Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Team player who can work autonomously
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiating skills
• Excellent grasp of technology and Microsoft Office applications
