Job Overview – Senior Finance Associate (Private Equity):

Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Associate in Boston, MA, to support the financial operations of a private equity firm. This hybrid role involves overseeing fund accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and investor relations. Expertise in partnership accounting and financial analysis will be essential for maintaining fund integrity and ensuring regulatory compliance.Compensation:

$90,000 – $120,000/year + bonusLocation:

Boston, MASchedule:

Monday to Friday (Hybrid)Responsibilities as the Senior Finance Associate:

Financial Statement Review:

Oversee quarterly statements from third-party administrators for accuracy and compliance.Audit & Compliance:

Manage annual audits in coordination with external accounting firms and the Controller.Capital Transactions:

Review and ensure accurate execution of capital contributions and distributions.Valuation Oversight:

Assist in quarterly valuations, reviewing models and preparing materials for the Valuation Committee.Fund Expense & Treasury Management:

Allocate fund expenses, track accruals, maintain investor records, and assist with treasury functions.Tax & Regulatory Compliance:

Review tax returns, manage tax payments, and assist with SEC filings, including Form ADV and Form PF.Qualifications for the Senior Finance Associate:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required (CPA preferred).Experience:

2-3 years in public accounting, private equity, or fund administration with expertise in partnership accounting and investment structures.Technical Proficiency:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities, preferably with experience in financial modeling and valuation analysis.Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with private market investments, SEC reporting, and tax compliance in an investment management setting.Skills and Attributes:

Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to engage with leadership, investors, and external partners.Application Notice:
