Job Description/Summary:The purpose of this position is to provide screening, vaccination services and N95 respirator fit testing to employees, volunteers, physicians and post job offer applicants and to provide clinical support service to the Employee Health Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Director and Physician. This position is also responsible for maintaining highly confidential records regarding the health status of employees and prospective employees.

Additional Responsibilities:• Greets employees on arrival to department.• Determines purpose of visit and prepares room and forms before physician/nurse practitioner evaluation.• Monitors employee TB screening and immunization requirements including providing PPD skin testing and other required employee immunizations.• Updates EH Director and NP after contracting current listing of non-compliant employees and keeps data base up to date for manager to access information.• Provides annual N95 respirator fit test and training to employees and PAPR training (for specific employees) per OSHA requirements.• Provides monthly notification to employees of TB screening.• Provides PPDs in EH Clinic and at off-site locations.• Maintains highly confidential employee health records of work related and non-work related health concerns through data entry and filing of documents.• Maintains confidential health records of contracted and Medical Staff.• Pre-screening includes: Review of vaccine/titer records, color vision screening, and respirator fit testing, administration of necessary immunizations, PPD skin testing and drug screening.• Places reminder calls to employees with scheduled appointments when requested.• Notifies employee and prescreens those exposed to Infectious Diseases under the direction of the NP/RN.• Provides follow up testing as ordered by RN or NP.• Obtains and maintains supplies and equipment for optimal utilization.• Provides influenza vaccine(s) to eligible employees, physicians, volunteers and contractors per protocol in Employee Health Clinic and at off-site locations.• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Immunization/injection skills essential.• Knowledge of data entry and basic clerical skills necessary.• Able to perform multiple job tasks simultaneously in rapid pace environment.• Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.
