Roles and Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs in compliance with established protocols and safety standards.Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and functionality.Review and evaluate images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and provide necessary technical support.Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and updating medical histories as required.Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.Assist with scheduling and managing patient flow to ensure efficient departmental operations.Provide compassionate and professional care to patients, addressing any concerns or questions.Participate in quality control and assurance programs to maintain high standards of imaging services.Qualifications:- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH required ( - ARRT cert in Radiography required ( - BLS preferred - At least 1 year of experience in role - Shift Times: 12a-8a - video interviews - weekends & holidays required
