Job Details:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Healthcare industry. This is a permanent position, where the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and driving strategic business planning. This role is pivotal in driving our financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, trend and variance analysis, and data analysis. This position will also manage the general ledger, assist with annual budgeting, annual financial audits, internal control, and grant accounting. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxesManage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documentsCollaborate with executive leadership to define organizational financial strategyEnsure company compliance with all tax reporting requirements, coordinating with external tax accountants as neededDevelop and maintain a system of accounting records and techniquesConduct regular ledger activities to ensure accuracy and consistency of entriesCreate models to predict and measure financial outcomes and risksConduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and business case developmentDrive the budgeting and forecasting process, as well as the annual business planning processDevelop and implement robust financial controls and processesManage internal and external audits and address any issues that may ariseManage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting position, preferably in the healthcare industryCertified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferredProficient in tax compliance, financial reporting standards, cash flow forecasting, strategic business planning, trend analysis, variance analysis, data analysis, and general ledgerStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with annual budgeting, annual financial audits, internal control, and grant accountingExcellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced mathematical and logical deduction skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAccurate and precise attention to detailStrong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
