The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience in the construction industry ideally with a general contractor. Job Details
Responsibilities:
Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectivesEnsure that clients’ needs are met as the project evolvesSubcontractor's Payroll Reporting (Union and non Union)Analyze risks and opportunitiesOversee project procurement managementMonitor project progress and handle any issues that ariseAct as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participantsConstruction Documents (RFI's, Submittals and Change Order)Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expendituresIssue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of agreement)Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reportsReview and verify employee payroll before submissionManage and update insurance certificates as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or related role within the construction industryProven experience managing contracts, reviewing payroll, and handling insurance certificatesExcellent knowledge of construction procedures and material and project management principlesFamiliarity with quality and health and safety standardsGood knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management softwareOutstanding communication and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skills
