Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:

    Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals across all food and beverage outlets, including identifying target markets, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.  

     

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:

    Actively prospect for new clients, network within the community, and build strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business and referrals.  

     

  • Sales Management:

    Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, including conducting sales calls, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and handling customer inquiries.  

     

  • Event Sales:

    Focus on selling catering services for events like conferences, weddings, corporate functions, and private dining experiences.  

     

  • Collaboration with Operations:

    Work closely with restaurant managers, kitchen staff, and event planners to ensure smooth execution of booked events, including coordinating menus, dietary needs, and service details.  

     

  • Market Analysis:

    Stay informed about industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.  

     

  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:

    Track sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.  

     

  • Team Leadership:

    May lead a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to achieve sales goals.  

     

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders  

     

  • Strong sales acumen, including negotiation skills and ability to close deals  

     

  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry, food and beverage trends, and event planning  

     

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team  

     

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail  

     

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools  

     

 

Typical Work Environment:

  • Office setting with frequent interaction with clients, both in-person and over the phone
  • May require occasional work outside of regular business hours to attend events or meet with clients
