LOCATION - PermaTherm’s headquarters and pipe fabrication facility are located in Covington, Georgia, with its manufacturing plant in nearby Monticello, Georgia. The COO is expected to be present and onsite daily.
POSITION IMPACT - PermaTherm is seeking a results driven COO to partner with the executive team in transforming the company’s vision into actionable strategies. This role is critical to fostering alignment and collaboration across all departments.
The COO will excel in relationship building and driving business success through building a high-performing team. They will be responsible for designing and implementing streamlined processes and systems while fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence that will position the company as a forward-focused engine for growth.
PermaTherm has made significant investments in new equipment and launched the PermaCore product line opening opportunities in commercial and industrial sectors. This strategic shift aims to capture larger, more consistent revenue streams, and the new COO will play a key role in acquiring and servicing these opportunities.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - The COO of PermaTherm will hold a critical leadership role, shaping the organization’s future with a commitment to integrity and its core values. Partnering closely with the executive leadership team, the COO will oversee all aspects of P&L management, including the development of annual business plans, sales forecasts, and budgets. The role also involves contributing to the creation of a 5-year strategic plan and ensuring the successful achievement of the company’s long-term objectives.
Key responsibilities include driving financial performance by ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and effective risk management. The COO will be instrumental in building a strong leadership team by recruiting top talent and developing key talent from within. Additionally, this role oversees core functions, including Production and Sales & Marketing, ensuring these areas are aligned with the company’s strategic priorities and financial objectives.
Additional key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the alignment of the company's resources, processes, and structures to ensure operational efficiency
- Implement a comprehensive professional development program to foster employee growth
- Communicate and cast the company’s vision while presenting operational performance to the Board of Directors, leadership team, and employees
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including employees, customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to uphold the company’s reputation and industry standing
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS - The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the insulated metal panels or related building materials industry. They will possess advanced financial acumen, a growth-oriented mindset, and excellent analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making. In addition, a proven record in strategic planning, technical expertise, and full P&L responsibility is essential.
