Job Title: Sales Account Manager
Location: Fremont, CA
Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 per year
Additional Compensation: Commissions
Work Site: Travel to Clients in San Fran & Bay Area
Travel: Some international travel to global offices
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our client's team in Fremont, CA. This role involves managing a key global account in the tech industry, like major hyperscalers (cloud computing and data management services that are provided on a massive scale). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, specifically within the high-tech sector, and will be adept at building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the relationship with a major hyperscaler client, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand service offerings.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager, with a focus on high-tech companies.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed, including occasional international travel.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience with Motorola (MOTOTRBO) radio systems is very desirable.
- Knowledge of dispatch consoles, repeaters, handheld and mobile radios, antenna systems, trunked systems, VOIP, multiplexers, and combiners.
- Basic knowledge of DC voltage systems and hand tools.
- Strong computer skills (QBO, TSheets, Microsoft Office, Asana, Google Workspace).
