About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Tax to lead the tax function of its Americas Holding Corporation. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the business, with a focus on achieving cash tax savings and minimizing the global effective tax rate in full compliance with all relevant laws. This role is pivotal in overseeing all domestic, international, and indirect taxes, including tax compliance, income tax accounting, tax planning, and audits. The Vice President, Tax will also be responsible for leading change initiatives to standardize and automate tax processes, as well as mentoring and developing a team of tax professionals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams on M&A, and divestiture transactions, and providing strategic advice on tax-efficient structuring and funding are key aspects of the position.Applicants for the Vice President, Tax role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a J.D. or Master of Science in Taxation preferred. A CPA is required, along with at least 12 years of relevant multinational corporate tax experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, change management, and significant experience in income tax accounting, tax planning, M&A, legal entity restructuring, international tax, and transfer pricing. Strong analytical, strategic, and technical skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to influence business leaders on critical tax issues. The role demands excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented focus.
