About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) to provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of IT initiatives that enhance cost-effectiveness, service delivery, and program development within the Infrastructure domain. The successful candidate will be a key member of the IT Leadership team, involved in the planning and implementation of enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized operations. Responsibilities include supervising information systems staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, and managing multiple IT and communication systems projects. The DCIO will also play a pivotal role in strategic planning, innovation, process improvement, and fostering a customer-focused IT environment.Applicants for the DCIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in IT management, including at least 3 years of managing professional IT personnel. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in leadership, management, and strategic planning, and a proven track record in fostering innovation and process improvement. The DCIO will be responsible for budget management, staff development, and risk management, including the maintenance of business continuity, incident response, and disaster recovery plans.
