About the Role

The Deputy CIO will also be expected to proactively identify and evaluate emerging technology trends, manage key vendor relationships, and support the development and execution of the university's IT strategic plan.Applicants for the Deputy CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of professional IT experience, with at least 6 years in IT management or a related field. A strong background in technology strategy development, budget management, and financial planning is essential, as is experience in technical project management and personnel management. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A Master's degree and experience in higher education IT are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and supervising multiple teams, as well as experience in developing information systems management models and managing contracts with technology vendors.
