Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our legal team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling travel arrangements.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and maintain an efficient filing system for all legal documents.
- Liaise with clients, external counsel, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Coordinate materials for meetings and court appearances, including bundling and pagination of legal documents.
- Conduct legal research as directed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within the legal industry.
- Proficiency in calendaring, scheduling, and filing systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
