We are seeking a full-time, permanent Labor & Employment Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned attorney with a strong background in labor and employment law, corporate law, transactional law, and M&A. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry and will have a passion for providing top-notch legal advice and guidance to our clients. This role will involve working closely with our clients to help them navigate complex labor and employment issues, advising on corporate matters, and assisting with transactional work and M&A activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including but not limited to, employee relations, wage and hour issues, workplace safety, discrimination claims, and employment contracts.Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements, including employment contracts, severance agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.Advise clients on corporate law matters, including corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.Assist with transactional work, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transactional documents, and advising on the legal aspects of deal structures.Participate in M&A activities, including conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, and providing post-acquisition legal support.Stay current on developments in labor and employment law, corporate law, transactional law, and M&A to ensure that clients receive the most accurate and up-to-date advice.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.Admission to the state bar.In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law, corporate law, transactional law, and M&A.Proven experience in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
