An established real estate firm on the multi-family development side with several offices throughout the nation is looking to add a Project Engineer to their growing team. It's important that you have experience within the multi-family industry to assist the PM.

Job Details

Project:

500 residential unitsEight-story buildingFive levels of type III wood frame constructionThree levels of type I above-grade, two levels below-grade concrete constructionPodium6400 sq. ft. of retail

Responsibilities:

Manage scheduling, contract negotiations, and project oversightEnsure safety compliance with OSHA and local regulationsOversee contractor activities and empower your teamProvide scheduling and constructability reviews to developersPre-qualify contractors and monitor construction schedulesPerform onsite inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plansTrack construction progress and ensure budget alignmentObtain certificates of occupancyLead, train, and mentor other Superintendents and assistantsAct as a liaison between design, development, and construction teamsProvide performance feedback and conduct regular staff meetings

Qualifications:

10+ years’ experience in Multi-Family Construction and managing othersBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fieldProficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction management software (Microsoft Project)OSHA 30-hour certification and current First Aid/CPR training
