This role is a part of the leadership team of the NA Transportation business and will be responsible for the overall leadership of a key customer account in the Automotive Sector.Working closely with internal and customer stakeholders, the Engagement Manager will be responsible for positioning us as a Trusted Thinking Partner for the customer by developing a deep understanding of the customer business, developing/seeding ideas, formulating strategies, and working with the team to implement solutions.Candidate Profile:The individual must be familiar with the regional Automotive Industry, how it conducts business, its culture, and engagement style. We are looking for someone who can identify customer pain points, demonstrate ability in creating long-term customer solutions and bring long-term trusted relationships, maturity, scalability, and sustainability. Further, this individual must have a strong background and experience in engineering or program delivery.A self-driven individual with strong sales solutions, customer relationship development, engineering background, general management experience, and a focused mindset is likely to be successful in this role.Skills And Qualifications:Deep domain knowledge of the Automotive Industry and associated product engineering & digital services.Strong background in Engineering or Engineering led programme delivery with knowledge of Automotive products & product lifecycle.Experience in a Customer Facing role with financial/delivery accountability either in an OEM or in an Engineering/Technology services industry.Strong analytical ability to hold in-depth conversations, comprehend information, understand the “Bigger Picture,” and articulate thoughts and ideas.Ability to work with people and get things done.Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Experience in consultative led selling/value selling in technology services.Previous experience of operating in a matrix organization working with diverse stakeholders.Exposure to sales/account management in the Engineering Services industry.Experience of working with Automotive clients in Silicon Valley.Innovative and advanced presentation skills.Other key points:The role is dedicated to leading a strategic customer account with a wide range of customer stakeholders.
