General Manager | Creative Market Concept | Chicago 130K++Creative hospitality market concept is seeking an experienced

General Manager

to lead operations at our Chicago location. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who excels in hospitality, team management, and financial oversight while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This individual will be heavily involved in programming, event creation and have the opportunity to work closely with the media team to develop a curated and fun experience for our guests.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:

Implement and maintain high operational standards across all areas, including food and beverage service, vendor relations, facility management, and compliance.Financial Performance:

Drive sales, manage budgets, oversee P&L, and ensure financial targets are met.Team Development:

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.Vendor & Partner Relations:

Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.Guest Experience & Brand Integrity:

Uphold the company’s reputation by maintaining top-tier service standards and responding to guest feedback.Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and legal requirements, including liquor laws, labor regulations, and city ordinances.Marketing & Community Engagement:

Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the venue and ensure a strong presence in the local market.Key Qualifications:Experience:

7-10+ years in high-volume hospitality or restaurant management ($10M+ revenue). Multi-unit experience preferred.Leadership:

Proven ability to manage large teams, develop talent, and drive performance.Financial Acumen:

Strong understanding of budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with POS systems (Gotab, Toast, Resy, OpenTable, etc.), event booking platforms, and inventory management tools.Guest-Focused Approach:

Commitment to delivering exceptional service and curating unique guest experiences.Requires flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Combination of office and on-site presence.
