You’ll be an important part of our diversely talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile transactions.The opportunityYou’ll be working in a team environment with corporate finance and established investment banking professionals on a variety of projects primarily in the MedTech sector. Our team works to understand the client’s business model and trends, as well as challenge assumptions of future performance and assist with all aspects for M&A, debt and equity transaction execution.Your key responsibilitiesLead and execute engagements in the MedTech sector.Originate and execute buy-side and sell-side M&A as well as other corporate finance transactions.Leverage EY’s extensive global reach and network of relationships.Lead and develop a team of mid-level and junior members ensuring their career development.Skills and attributes for successAdvise companies regarding M&A, strategic and corporate finance alternatives.Supervise, coach and mentor Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, associates and analysts.Identify prospective investors and buyers for M&A and capital raising mandates.Perform extensive financial analysis, valuation analysis and pro forma financial modeling.Identify key issues and potential areas of valuation and transaction risk.Perform in-depth sector market and company-specific coverage.Contribute to recruiting and team development initiatives.To qualify for the role, you must haveA bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related work experience.Extensive investment banking experience.Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing).Ability to work directly with clients as the most senior banking team representative.Strong experience with both originating transactions and leading a team in execution.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Willingness and ability to travel as necessary at short notice.Ideally, you’ll also haveA proven record of excellence in investment banking specific to MedTech.Experience gained within another credible investment banking organization.Established networking skills in a relevant industry.What we look forWe’re interested in talented professionals with the ability to visualize our clients’ goals and think creatively to facilitate them. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $325,000 to $350,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
